I can understand a bit, but the thing is with superhero comics is that they are constantly changing over issues. Mostly because they constantly get new pencillers and writers. So you keep having people that might not fully understand how to layout.

Also I suggest trying Batman: The Black Mirror and Batwoman. They have layout issues, but the art. OMG the art. Current Daredevil is great too for a graphic look.

I also suggest Batgirl vol 3. The layout is pretty simplistic and while the art is standard, it's emotive.

I would love to see what your feelings are on the latest Batman (number 5) because there was an intentional desire for layout confusion in it.
