I've never thought about this! You win though OP! In my childhood I had followed European and Eastern Comics, never touched anything North American (hmm, I was a huge "Donald Duck" fan and had a whole collection of magazines and Gigant compilations, however I'm sure they had been collaborating with US). Nowadays, I can't get through US published comics, webcomics are fine though.
