I'm the same. I don't ship Jeff or Britta with anyone, but I sometimes read the smut for it since it's hot. So maybe I ship it in that FWB way? xD

Though I ship Abed/Troy and Abed/Annie, I kind of don't care who gets together in canon too except for Troy and Britta. I just can't understand that pairing other than they look good together.

They did sort of have Annie/Britta shiptease with all of their wet wrestling, the almost-kiss in the season two Valentine's episode, and IIRC they glanced at each other when Jeff gave the "we're all sexual options for each other" speech. Alison and Gillian seem to be up for it, so it would be interesting to see what they could do with it as a legit option, as long as it wouldn't get too "ooh, sexy girl-on-girl!"

They both seem like great kissers, don't they? Especially those kisses in the first paintball episode.

I think this show is too cartoony (in a good way -- I fucking love this show) for any relationships to develop seriously (hence my confusion as to why shipping seems to dominate the fandom but whatever), but I have no problem whatsoever with random pairs hooking up randomly whenever the story or a laugh calls for it. Shoot, I love all the scenes with Annie and Abed, even though that pair doesn't make any sense on paper -- I'd have no problem whatsoever with the show finding contrived ways for Abed to pretend to be someone else while flirting with Annie while she enjoys it.

I really like Jeff/Britta but I don't want the show to get too involved with shipping either (I loved it SO MUCH when we found out they'd just been having secret sex for awhile and no one knew and everybody moved on)

I sort of like Jeff/Britta in that they're pretty fun to watch... although the S1 finale kind of ruined that for me (the super awkward "I love you" was season 1, right?) Mostly, I just don't want Jeff/Annie. I see it everywhere, and it totally squicks me out.
