Not attracted, but BC's face is just so interesting to me. Interesting in the way that I love Martin Freeman's and Mark Gatiss' noses, Louise Brealey's teeth, Una Stubbs tiny hands, and so on. Half the time I watch Willem Dafoe, I'm trying to understand his face.

One of these days I'm going to get called out for staring at strangers during my commute, and it will be wonderfully awkward.

Accept the ugly, and bathe in it.

This is my fave comment on this thread.

A friend and I tried to figure out how to articulate Willem Dafoe once, and came to the conclusions that:

-in terms of his body, he doesn't look like he has adult-sized muscles. He looks like he has multiple copies of child-sized muscles, stacked on top of each other.
-his face looks like he stole different parts of it from lots of different people

...it was a strange conversation. This was the same friend who claims she doesn't find BC attractive because of his "weird little bird mouth". While I find him very attractive, I had to agree with her, and now I can't stop noticing it.

So what your friend is really trying to say, is that Willem Dafoe is a living, breathing, photoshop.

Pffhahahaa bird mouth what even is that if not the most apt description 8')

Willem Dafoe is wonderful, but his body defies any sort of logic.

And Benedict Cumberbatch. Only a voice and acting ability like his could overcome faces like this:

Although it's slightly better than when he looks like his lower jaw is about to be reabsorbed into his neck (the multi-chin moments). And this is from someone who finds him quite attractive! Just when his face derps, it goes all out.

I literally LOL'd at that. It caught me off guard.
