It's totally real. It's become this epic post-apoc zombie AU thing. IDEK what inspired it. But now I have a detailed outline so all I need to do is write the damn thing.

Well, he will be heroically roaming about killing zombies, does that count? :D

Dude, I'm not gonna lie: I was totally hoping for there to be a zombie element to this. :)

But seriously, if you ever do put the outline into fic form feel free to friend me or whatever (if you don't mind owning your f!s), because like I say, I'd love to give it a read.

Oh yeah, it's a zombie AU alright. :D I just forgot to mention that in the actual secret. XD /is dense.

I have started writing it now, but I have no idea how long it'll take me to write this, because it's going to be quite long and I have new narrative voices I've never written before to get used to (it's going to have a collaborative journal/anthology of diaries/etc kind of style). That, and RL and a horrid Australian summer are getting in the way of my writing time. Damn you, summer, and your 40C+/104F+ days! *shakes fist*

I'd actually considered writing it for apocabigbang, but that never quite got up and running last year, so I set it aside. And, tbh, I felt it was a bit too obscure and weird even for me. But I can certainly add you and let you know when it's done, sure, if you're willing to wait a while for me to get it written.

I take your Australian summer and raise you an English winter. I'm freezing my toes off here. (Although saying that it's actually not too bad today.)

As far as the fic goes, take as long as you like, I can't see my interest waning.

I was going to add you but after reading your profile I noticed you were a bit leery about randoms adding your personal LJ if you didn't think you had a lot in common (although I totally agree about the dinosaurs xD). So I thought I'd leave it up to you.

Okay, cool. It's definitely going to be awesome once it's done, but I'm a bit of a perfectionist particularly with new fandoms, so I tend to research like mad. /likes research anyway.

Oh. Oh! Yes, that bit. XD Um. Old fandom problem is old and probably not that relevant anymore, since the fandom that spawned that particular problem is pretty much dead now and I deleted my old fic journal a year or two ago. I should redo that Friends Only entry. It's quite old and could do with IDK not being that cranky. D:

I sympathise; fandom problems/conflicts are the worst and also just really boring after a while. Urgh. Although I didn't think your Friends Only entry was cranky; it's fine, not everyone wants to be friended by whoever stumbles across their journal.

Hee. I for one think having Coast zombie AUs in common is pretty important. We're a rare beast.
