I bet you haven't read Wuthering Heights yet. I loathe that book and every single character in it. I want a refund for those hours of my life.

I *tried* to like WH- I spent the whole book waiting for it to get better or for the characters to experience growth or something but... Not so much. Seriously, have their ever been two people that make each other/themselves so freaking miserable portrayed as the main "romantic" protagonists ever? Ugh. Felt no sympathy for either of them at all. :P

I wanted to eat that damn book I hated it so much. It didn't make a lick of sense and was melodrama from the introduction to the footnotes I never got around to reading because I'd give up on the damn thing a few chapters to the ending. There is no redeeming quality about that book, none.

Now Jane Eyre on the other hand? Fabulous book. I couldn't put it down. At least one of the Bronte sisters got it right!

Oh thank GOD. Someone else who hates Wuthering Heights. I've tried to read it at different stages of my life and I've never been able to get through it. The last time, I managed to get half way and I ended up throwing the book across my room and declared it hopeless.
