The rational side of me knows she reacted any way most people would with the information she had and the fear of something different. So I don't hate her.
But LORD she raises my hackles because calling Sherlock a "freak" and warning people away from him takes me back to being 13 years old, at high school, when plenty of people called me "freak" to my face in exactly the same tone. I'm not anything like Sherlock, I mean just the general dismissal of anyone who didn't fit with whatever the hell was "cool" and acceptable when I was at school.
She's a total grey area character for me. One minute I like her, the next I'm screaming at my TV.
