I can relate to this quite well. And boy, does this guest rapper ruin the song. Ahem, anyways.

I feel similarly (I guess I should have talked about that yesterday but whatever) about the No Fear song from My Little Pony. I'm quite depressed and my medication messes with my head a bit, so maybe for that reason I developed an intense fear of darkness at the age of 20. For a while, I couldn't sleep with the lights off, and I stayed awake the entire night so that I could sleep during the day when it wasn't dark. Then I discovered this song, and everytime I think I see someone standing next to my bed, I sing it. It's been so amazingly helpful.
