(Anonymous) 2012-01-28 03:32 am (UTC)(link)The other day I was reading a reasonably good Victorian Holmes fanfic and mid-way through the fic (for no reason at all) they started getting referred to as "Sherlock" and "John". Threw me right out of the story and made me wonder if the author had forgotten they weren't writing a BBC Sherlock fic.
