There's actually been a few statements from Moffat that their goal is to have the next season started "before the end of this year". So you won't have to wait as long, OP :D

I get where you're coming from though. I was on that stream too, and it died on me as well. I did download it though, and watched it, and yeah. It wasn't pretty. I didn't think it would affect me as badly as it did, so maybe since you're expecting the worst, it won't be as bad as you think?

well, the "before the year is over" thing turned out to just be more trolling, but I've got my fingers crossed that it won't be more than a year...

I don't think it was, actually. He was misquoted in an article as saying that series three would air by the end of the year, which obviously is never going to happen. But I think they are trying to film it this year to air early next year.

Yeah that's what I'm thinking. There's no way, what with Moffat doing Doctor Who and the boys with their film roles, there'd be able to film for an Autumn screening. I'm hoping it'll be filmed at the end of the year and we get a Spring 2013 release at the very earliest.
