I agree with this secret so much. Music is my Prozac. It totally keeps me sane. I don’t love LGG’s new stuff as much as her last CD, but I will agree that she is very inspirational, and that Just Dance is huckuva fun song. I’m pretty sure Telephone will always be on my workout mix, which is really saying something because I change out most of the songs on the mix at least once a week.

It seems like most people on here like to pump upbeat dance songs when they are down, but I really like to listen to the heart-wrenching stuff when I feel bad, for the catharsis and to remind myself that it’s…*normal* to get depressed sometimes. Everyone does. I like to listen to amazing artists who took that pain and made something sad-yet-beautiful out of it, like Amy Winehouse Back to Black, Flogging Molly’s The Worst Day Since Yesterday, CeeLo Green No One’s Gonna Love You (cover of Band of Horses, which is also great), Dreams by Brandi Carlisle¸Heavy by Florence + the Machine, Please Bleed by Ben Harper...I could babble on forever…

Anyone else? Sad/angry favorites, anyone??
