Catherine genderswapped would be super interesting! Male!Catherine would probably be the Edward Cullen/Eric from True Blood type, though I have a harder time thinking of what Male!Katherine would be- a really anxious kind of "nerd" type, maybe?
Aren't people saying that Catherine raped Vincent in the game as it is, though? At least, I saw people saying that.

I haven't really been lurking in the fandom or reading anything online about this game, but they should be! IDK I have been watching my husband play this game and that scene certainly looked like date rape to me, at the very least the consent wasn't altogether clear to me since he was so drunk, and he afterward he seemed less like someone who regretted a decision he'd made and more like someone who wasn't aware he had even made a decision regarding sex to begin with, so yeah

I'm not in the fandom either, but the two playthroughs I watched both had the gamers react with horror when Vincent woke up with Catherine- one of them definitely said "Hey, I didn't choose this!", and my one RL friend who owns the game texted me saying "Well, Vincent just got raped". To be fair, all of these people were playing to get Katherine or neutral, so maybe the people who were playing to get Catherine from the start felt differently.
