Sorry you got dogpiled, man. That always sucks. For what it's worth, I think I got what you were trying to say. Rape is something that has been romanticized throughout the ages. "Rape as love" is a trope that's older than print, and it unfortunately pops up in my animu from time to time. Especially gay animu. :(

But yeah, it's not really surprising that the relationship of these characters is considered quintessential and romantic. Not surprising at all.
