Heck, I think I was under ten when that case was passed. Heard the jokes, didn't even know it was a lady who sued or what their age was or what degree the burns were.

She didn't get the seriousness of the case, anon, she didn't make the joke out of any malicious intent and she already apologized for what came off as a callous comment. You need to relax.

So I take a hot cup of coffee, balance it in my lap, and it spills, and in your opinion that somehow makes it the fault of the people who sold me the coffee? No, that's the fault of my own damn stupidity in putting the coffee there in the first place.

I feel for the woman and the severity of the injuries was clearly horrible but it was in no way anyone's fault but her own.
