I can easily tell by by the lack of specifications in the comments that most people didn't even try to watch any of these shows.

I've seen Lucky Star. I haven't seen the other ones on this secret, but I've seen others of its ilk like Minami-ke. I think they are pandering and infantalizing. Why else would you draw high school girls like wide-eyed lolis. And don't tell me it's just the art; the art style reflects the content and the target audience.

I draw girls with big cutesy eyes, often looking younger than they're 'meant' to, solely because I like moemoeuguuu art and I draw how I damn well want to, does that mean I'm pandering to lolicons?

I'm a bit confused about you lumping Minami-ke in with this, seeing as all the girls actually look their age (Haruka looks older than 17-18 IMO) and are hardly fetishized at all. About 98% of the 'fanservice' in Minami-ke is courtesy of Hosaka (a guy), and that's purely for laughs.

Haha, I think it's great that wide-eyed, "infantalized" (in that, what girl her age really acts like she does?) Nagisa is the one to blurt out to her parents that yes, she and her husband have sex! *gasp shock*

I know she's extremely rare and that one example doesn't counter all the pandering that does occur (though the shows themselves don't bother me a whole lot, when I think too much about the fanbase they're catering to it does bother me), but I know plenty of people see the art for Clannad and think they've got every aspect of the show and characters figured out without having seen any of it.
