lol, this reminds me of the tumblr chicks that act like they're so different because they don't wear makeup and nice clothes. I used to be like that, but then I realized that I really like expressing myself through clothes and makeup.

It's fine to have different hobbies, but when people act like they have achieved some sort of transcendence because they don't like traditionally girly things I...well, I don't think too kindly of them. Idk if it's that simple, but just tell your friends that there's nothing wrong with liking makeup and wearing it makes you happy, so they can just deal with it or not care.
