1. Agreed. Or at least I wouldn't date someone who wasn't active in the whole scene. My ex was not a cosplayer by a long shot and made one convention hell for me ... and I broke up with him final day of the con.

9. Glass Shard! I kind of lost a lot of respect for her around the time I read this blog entry of hers where she was bashing fanartists when she herself is a fanartist. Her art is still fine, though.

11. It's kind of that way for me as far as artwork goes. I get tired of the same, 'OMG! Hot! Draw more!'

It involves an Aizen coat, actually. And me in full Kira cosplay crouched on the floor drawing those damn designs onto it with a fabric marker -- which ran out of ink halfway through, I had said I needed paint but no one listened to me -- while said boyfriend bitched and moaned while doing nothing to help. For someone who lacks any practical skills as far as cosplay goes, he's certainly opinionated on cosplay as well.

It's a long story ... but I'm willing to share if you want further details.
