Don't worry too much about it OP. Like what you like. Everyone makes a stink about adults watching "children's shows" but honestly a great deal of adults do that be it out of nostalgia or just enjoying how cute something is. Sure there are creepers in the fandom for this show but almost everything with a cult following has those kinds of people.

MLP:FiM has a lot going for it. It's a cute and nice looking show with fun characters and good musical numbers. You don't have to justify why you like it to anybody be you 2, 20 or 200 years old.
