No, you don't sound homophobic, and the way fandom acts towards people who don't ship slash (not people who don't support it, but people who don't actively ship it) is one of the few things I genuinely dislike about fandom. You like what you like and support things in the real world even if they don't particularly affect you--you're doing fine.
