If you mean you're not interested in reading it...I sort of get you. I too am hoping that last sentence was just bad wording so I'll pass that over. I do like to read slash at times...but only from the point of view of being interested in what's implied, how characters interact and wild speculation. I've never been big on the consummation/porn. Then again I feel that way about het pairings also. Over the years I've realised I prefer gen or romantic pairings where it isn't the main plot point. I suppose I'd put it like I prefer the flirtation with an idea.

I'm a heterosexual woman in a very happy relationship but for some reason I don't identify very well with pairing-driven fic, even though that should be what "speaks" to me most I guess. But I sometimes (only sometimes) feel fandom is all about the porn and I'm weird. I dunno...suppose what I'm saying is I don't think it's homophobic to not be interested in gay relationships so long as you don't go around saying anything like you don't like it because gay people are wrong - that would be homophobic.

I'm exactly the same way when it comes to porn. I guess you could say I'm more story-driven- I'd rather read about the characters interacting with each other and their surroundings and maybe driven by a semi-decent plot. I like storytelling, and sex for the sake of sex just doesn't strike me as such.
