OP here, the problem is that all my fandom friends are crazy about slash while I have no interest in it. Over time it started to seem that I'm a weird one with a wrong opinion.

It was more a general comment, not you in specific. I don't know how preference can be wrong, but your friends happen to be if that's what they're telling you.

So yeah, you might actually be a bit of an odd bird in slash-heavy fandoms, but it's all cool ♥
