Naw. It just means you're drawn to make fanwork of what you like. I certainly think you're just a bad writer if you find it impossible to write things you can't relate to (not exclusively romantic), but there's absolutely no reason for you to do so if you don't enjoy it anyways. People who get picky over your shipping preferences are really fucking uptight, and wasting too much energy trying to analyze you imo.

For me, canon relationships generally bore me because I just cannot see the chemistry, or I get the inkling that the character's only reason to exist is to be a romantic interest (as is the case with way too many token female characters). Not all the time, just most, but it tends to look like I'm anti-het at times. But that's stupid.
