'transgenders' isn't the word, obviously

they weren't "being an asshole" they were just pointing out that you're doing it wrong!

"transgender people" or "trans people" would have been better, i believe.

i don't really care for most trans fic either, but it would help you sound more credible if you used the right terminology.

Actually, I thought it was kind of assholish, too. If you (general you) want to correct people, correct them, but don't do these pat one-word replies that really say nothing other than "I noticed something you did wroooooooong!"
