Writing fic is something authors do for themselves. POSTING fic, on the other hand... if you put your work out and then yank it away from people who got attached, you don't get to be pissy when they exchange what's left among themselves. Why do people who can't deal with e-fame even bother posting, anyway? The internet never forgets.

If some shitty fanfiction got you so "attached" you need to disrespect the person who wrote it, then you have bigger problems than deleted fics.
