I can kind of understand your position on that last statement, OP. I believe people who identify as non-hetero deserve equal rights and treatment as those who are hetero oriented. I myself am not straight. That being said, I don't take any interest in the politics of the LGBT community or the culture. I also don't care about a relationship just because it happens to be between people of the same gender. Being gay doesn't make anyone an OMG SO FABULOUS SHUPER SHPESHUL SNOWFLAKE!!1! Gay people are just as boringly normal as hetero people. I guess I just don't understand what the big deal is.

inb4 some SJW rides in on their white horse to try and tell you how you, as a gay person, SHOULD be feeling/reacting to this secret and to LGBT politics/culture.
