I love tumblr. Just scrolling through my dashboard and seeing all the things I love and stuff that makes me laugh never fails to brighten my day.

As with anything you've got to figure out on your own how to make the best of it. I learned that if you only scroll through tags you'll see a lot of crap but if you find the right blogs to follow that share your interest and people that you can tolerate than I don't see what's so bad about tumblr.

The dashboard is a happy place.Though if your looking for a place to discuss fandom in length I don't think tumblr is the best choice. Tumblr is better suited for images and short posts, not long drawn out discussions.

I think I got lucky in my fandoms with tumblr seeing as how I don't see any of the negative drama people complain about. I guess it depends what fandom territory you venture into.
