You've got "guy", "gal", "person", and all sorts of words to mean person so you don't need to say fag to mean person. It doesn't mean person, it's short for faggot, which has been a slur/insult to put down homosexuals for many years even though it's original meaning was small bundle of wood.

Why don't the younger generations substitute nigger for fag then, huh, as a word for person? Is it cause it's more likely they'll have their teeth knocked out. "Oh, (hehe) he's such a ponynigger!" Fabulous, amirite? Why not just say ponyguy, ponygal, why do you have to use fag?

They're both put-downs, insults. But it's still okay to use fag 'cause it just homosexuals, right? It's not based on skin color just who someone sleeps with so it's okay to use the word, right, to mean "person".

Fag has a history that I don't think younger people consider. Children use it as a put-down to other and to mean dirty, bad, wrong even if not to mean homosexual.

I don't care that context, intent, meaning, whatever has changed for you and the younger generations . Society-at-large still uses fag as an extremely derogatory insult. Fag ranks up there w/words like nigger. You just don't say them. It might be okay in certain circles (like online) but don't use them in public spaces.
