You don't like it, it's cool. I don't like a lot of thing that others love, no need to make a fuss about it.
But "unimaginative"? You've got to be kidding me. The first trilogy was a complete revolution in the world of science fiction, you may not like it, but you can't deny how important it was for the sci-fi genre!
