Can you post a link to a thread where this was discussed? I also look at asexual tumblrs quite often and I've never read anything like this at all.

Me neither. The closest I've seen is someone talking about how their asexuality had caused them problems wrt sex... or that maybe they wouldn't have had those types of problems had they not been asexual and maybe that got generalized too much. I have seen someone say that asexuals might be more vulnerable to rape in the first place because if you don't know that it's normal to also maybe not experience sexual attraction ever you might be put in situations where you keep having/being pressured into sex you don't want in order to be "normal" (or cases where you keep getting told to suck it up and have sex with your partner because they really want it). But I think that was more of a 'visibility/awareness is important!' thing. (and, of course, these thing don't just happen to asexuals. and it's not worse when it does. just that the root causes may be different.)
