I wish that had happened so that the next two books would never have existed and the world would just have the far superior first book :)

OP here. I don't wish the other two books hadn't existed because I did enjoy them. But I do very much agree that the first book was the better of the three and, if the ending hadn't have been a cliffhanger, I would have enjoyed it as a solo novel.

Haha, same. I mean, I loved quite a few characters in Catching Fire but everything past the first book was kind of a mess.
