I tried to put on weight, not because it was something I wanted to do for myself, but because I wanted people to judging me on the way I look. In the end I stopped caring so much, because I realised people are and always will be morons and that I was actually fine with the way I was.
Still, I can't believe the number of people who think it's socially acceptable to comment on people's weight. I can't count the number of times I've met someone new who's said "gosh, you are so thin!" or had colleagues/acquaintances say "oh hello anon, still skinny as ever!"

I was very unhappy of my body because even my friends would make rude comments on it. I basically hated myself.
But then I realized that gaining weight would not help the issue because people aren't going to accept your body whatever it looks like. There is this constant message we get that well never be good enough.
