Much as I like to watch Hannibal, the ending (and the whole film, really, honestly) just lacks for me... then again, the book isn't much better XD; Just because (from what I recall, and as dr_ghost's late night discussions may have swayed me to thinking) it seems so much like Thomas Harris going "Fine, you want a third book? I'll give YOU a third book! *fucks with everyone's heads*"

Silence of the Lambs will remain my firm favourite with the films I think, possibly just because that's the one I saw first.

Some of the things in the movie (and what I've heard of the book) seemed very... out of character to me. Far be it for me to comment on how an author should write his own characters, but just... something really felt out of place about that whole section and I think it was pressure demands for OMGMORELECTORNOW from fans =/
