Honestly, if she'd just accepted the fact that she posted it there wouldn't be an issue, but to deny it repeatedly makes her lame beyond words. Especially blaming 4chan. I've had a raid on my dA page via cosplay and honestly no one would care enough to do something like what she was accusing this anonymous of doing after the fact. The attention span is short-lived. That is not how anonymous works. They are not the great evil upon which we can blame the workings of the internets and all it's dramu on. People should just own up to what they say and do if they're called out on it.

I still stand by the fact that there was that ChopinxLiszt secret and since she was the one suggesting we all go over to her LJ to confirm her innocence, I had to. Icon with Liszt asking Chopin to come to bed ... oh so incriminating. If you're going to play on the interwebs at least do it intelligently so that can't track you after you ruffle some feathers.

Honestly, I didn't even give a damn about the original secret aside from figuring it was just some dark kink and would have completely let it go if she hadn't proven herself to be worthy of the flak she was getting from some people on here.

The first comment even applauded the secret, so obviously they're not alone in their little fetish.

If they'd stayed stone faced about it, it would have passed. If they'd quietly fessed up, it would have passed. Since they chose outrage and indignation followed by deletion, everybody is going to jump to the conclusion that they are guilty and full of fail.

Am I the only one who sees that she's obviously embarrassed? Still lame, but I think the outrage was a defence because she feels stupid. I feel bad for her.

The community isn't about lying (though lots of people take it that way with their fake secrets), it's about fandom secrets. Yours is just a little less secret now. For future reference and face saving, tinypic.com is your friend.

On a parting note, don't be ashamed of your secret. It's obvious from the comments that you're not alone. Just find your happy balance with it.
