I hear you. If it bothers you that much and you still want to like Star Wars, look at it as Leia being held captive by Jabba, and that she eventually kills his male oppression with what held her captive? I mean, it's still not GREAT, but I find Leia killing Jabba much more palatable than Slave Leia being taken OUT of context, where it's her captivity that's sexy.

In fact, I think it's cool; that, without making a big deal out of it, Leia fucking KILLED that son of bitch ALL BY HERSELF. In fact, Leia was an all-around badass.

That is how I view the scene, which is why it doesn't bug me. How the fandom treats the scene and Leia in relation to it on the other hand...
