If you couldn't roll with "a wizard did it" for that line until recently, I can't even imagine how unbearable the Fidelius Charm must have been for you. That's the one that makes me tear my hair out, anyway.

OP here. I. . .actually just glossed completely over the pipes thing, and didn't even think of magic as the solution. I thought the Fidelius Charm was pretty nifty, to be honest.

Very not alone! I feel like either it works completely differently from how I think it does or half the Order of the Phoenix are morons. Wait, I just rememembered that supposedly Bill and Fleur were living in a house under Fidelius except that Ron was able to tell Harry about it when he wasn't the secret keeper and then Harry Apparated there and....I just don't understand.
