I ship both het and slash, read fics for some, don't care about other ships, it says nothing about my real life opinions, I don't assume people who only ship het is homophobic, nor do I think that people who only ship slash are rabid fangirls.

I can't wrap my head around other people caring what I ship, because quite frankly I couldn't care less what other peoples shipping preferences are, it is nice to have someone who agrees to discuss it with at times, I can even enjoy an discussion with someone who disagrees with me.
