Ok, I need to know this for my own sanity. Is anybody else hearing the Darth Vader Breathing Noise while on the comments page? And only on F!S?

...This is so fucked up. It's only occurring on the first page of comments on this particular entry.

Okay, so, some ‼science‼ here.

The sound does not play on the general comment page (http://fandomsecrets.livejournal.com/842753.html?thread=524513793#t524513793). Expanding this (http://fandomsecrets.livejournal.com/842753.html?thread=524652545#t524652545) comment causes it to start. Examining the source reveals this:

... so, uh, that's how they did it. Not sure what comment is responsible for it on the main comment page, but it's doing the same thing.

WHY IS THIS HAPPENING?

I'm glad I'm not the only one hearing it. At first it was funny, but it's starting to remind me of how my stepdad sounded on his life-support machine and now it's just distressing. And collapsing comments or pressing ESC doesn't stop it either. >(

Go to your volume control, open up the mixer, and mute your browser.

Oh god I heard it, and linked a friend who isn't even interested in F!S to make sure I wasn't going nuts.

It felt like the more comments I read, the more quickly he breathed.

That fact I'm trying to watch this episode of Supernatural to form my own biased opinion of the show and suddenly hear that breathing sound... does not bode healthy for me so early in the morning! Glad to know I am not crazy. I did mute the Chrome tab sound. ;)

OMG I'm not alone! I was getting really freaked out and had to mute my computer!
