It's always sad to lose your love for a favorite fandom - I've gone through a lot of fandoms in my day, some of which got me through some very difficult times. And while I still like almost all of them, it does ache when they stop being so special, when their meaning becomes drained and the emotions stop resonating.

But there will be new series, new things you love! Don't try to hold on so tightly that you start to resent the series for what it's not giving you; reach for the next star. There might be something fantastic you've been missing that is just what you need right now.

(fwiw, I've fallen in and out of love with OP at least 3 times - if every you're ready to come back to it, it will still be there, for a good long time to come! :)
