I'm like that OP. I love myself some dark!fic, but once it turns into sexy!rape or some measure of proving a characters 'true love' (as opposed to, say, Character 1 thinking it's an expression of love while Character 2 is freaked the fuck out and scared) I hit the back button so fast. But rape fits the darkfic trope pretty well.

I can deal with rape in dark fic, as it is dark and horrible. But rape kinks and rape as a way of characters realising their love for each other? Anti-kink so fast.
