Wow, I felt like I wrote this in my sleep minus the feminist stuff. I can seemingly only get fic from my favorite authors and of certain pairings if I bid on them during a charity (I got one from help japan recently). My kink meme requests don't get filled so this is usually the only way without me writing it myself. I would pay for fic commissions like fanart but it doesn't seem to be allowed with fic. I have no idea why. I didn't bid on fandom_helps because many were writing Kirk/Spock fic. While I like KS, you can get KS anywhere and all the time where as I wanted fic for other ST pairings no one was writing for.

I love this game and the sound track. I even considered getting a clan tat due to it. I recently found out that there was a fandom for this even though I played it when it first game out (but on Dreamcast). Recent like last year recent. :/ The fanart is good. I'm part of some deviantart comms for it.

They had oodles of chemistry and worked really well together. While I'm more of a David Tennant girl myself (though Rose is my favorite companion) Series 1 is my favorite. I think that they had such a great relationship and they were both so good for each other.

Claiming to be offended by people calling things stupid is a legitimate thing if and only if you are also opposed to praising things for being smart, which carries with it the same value judgment. If you are not willing to make this probably pretty large change to way you talk about things, perhaps you are actually claiming to be offended by people calling things stupid because you think it makes you look noble, not cause you actually are?

hahaha this sorta. I love the characters, I love their relationships, but I can't be arsed with the main plot. I can follow it just fine, I'm just sick of it always needing to add on new shit instead of just doing things with the characters and plot devices already in play. It's not the kind of writing i like.

Just gonna be over here reading a bunch of AUs and looking at pretty fanart, k?

okami is so unique. i love that game, too. i'm kinda struggling to think of a recommendation, though.

you might like the ico/shadow of the colossus set for ps3. they feature unique stories that feel classic. they're provacative and engaging with a ghostly beauty.

omg you have the worst luck ever :(

I remember reading fics back in the day, when nobody ever warned for that shit. The sites would always have one, big disclaimer that applied to all the fics (confirm your age as 18+, warning for sexual themes, etc) but it never went into specifics.
I was eleven when I stumbled into rape fics. At that point in my life I didn't really think about stuff like rape, so it was pretty traumatizing. And yet I kept reading these fics. I got over it pretty quickly, but to this day the queasiness and squick never goes away.

I understand this feeling. Hell this PV came out at the rght time for me too. I had a big fight with my husband and he refused to talk to me since the 13 and only yesterday answered a question about where the dogs shot records are. Oh and we've been living apart for a few months now, and I'm really bad off since I only dreamed to be a house wife and mom. I only have a season job under my belt.I freak out everyday what I'm gonna do if I don't/can't fix things. But the right music/PVs help put a little good into life. Stay strong.
