I'm fine with you and others using it. Granted if a lame person was upset id stop using it in their presence. Maybe they're recently lame or hate being reminded or got it worst than me (I'm not too bad offz?). And i wouldnt use it as nickname without permission/ friendship familiarity
But most times its used in context that its pretty much its own word...and i prefer itt to people using, say, gay as a negative orcunt ugh. But all about context and intent most time for me
