Really now?
I'm very curious as to where you got the idea that the guy who's just as much of a manipulative dick as the other guys are (Shiori being a terrible person too does not make it better) and forces himself on a lesbian in order to ~save~ her is somehow not an asshole.

At least I got the sense that he cared about Juri (maybe even loved her?) and was tired of seeing her suffering because of Shiori
I don't remember him forcing himself on her (I'm actually in the middle of rewatching the series for the first time in years right now), and he's certainly not the first straight person to fall in love with a gay person of the opposite gender (can't really help who you love)
