Trust me, those don't have the original versions (ie exact same versions of the film that debuted in the theatres). You'd be amazed at how many times they've been edited, even by the time they came out on vhs. Lucas was fucking with the original trilogy even back in the 90s. You can't get a single version of the first film that doesn't have that CGI scene with Jabba added in (yeah I know they shot the footage with Harrison Ford back then, but I still don't like the way it looks in the film). And I'm pretty sure none of the dvd versions have David Prowse as Darth Vader, they went back and added in Hayden Christensen instead

Same here. I've never seen the movie and really would like to, but I really don't want to see the versions that have been messed with so much. I want to see what people saw back in the day.
