I feel you, OP. Those two were my very first slash pairing, and I still feel the need to read fic about them, sometimes (10+ years later)... and yeah, the fic out there is pretty terrible.

I've thought about it but never really looked into it, is there anything good for them? I find myself wanting it now hahaha

It's been a long while since I've looked back at my bookmarks, so I don't remember WHY I bookmarked them in the first place. I think I can only safely somewhat rec a couple until I find time to reread.

I remember liking Stormy1x2 (http://www.fanfiction.net/u/7929/Stormy1x2)'s fics because they were following and including anime canon. It starts with Rich and Intrepid Souls (http://www.fanfiction.net/s/4517867/1/Rich_and_Intrepid_Souls).

And then there's Melody of a Memory (http://www.fanfiction.net/s/5045006/1/Melody_of_a_Memory) if you're interested in an aged-up, "Ash TOTALLY becomes a Champion at some point in his future" au where Gary is Ash's estranged friend, going through divorce, and Ash is a burnt out man child because he doesn't like the lifestyle being a champion demands of him. It updates at a snail's pace. Like, over a year. But I remember liking all the pining going on. POV is first person iirc, so watch out for that if it bothers you?

Also, there used to be a REALLY good fanfic site a LONG time ago that had a lot of really good Ash/Gary fic. One story in particular that I remember had some rafting race and I think Ash got hurt? I remember liking it a lot, but that site has since disappeared and all the stories on it. :C

There IS a group of one shots that are all connected on ff.net that are pretty good. I just can't remember the author nor can I remember any titles. :C But, they aren't "Ash" and "Gary" in those fics. They're "Satoshi" and Shigeru."

If I remember right, the "last" oneshot had something to do with Team Rocket and...er...what's her name. The one from the Mew Two movie sequel? Domino!!

I need to try and find them again. If I do, and I remember to, I'll link to it here.

But yes. Ash/Gary is epic!! Favorite Ash ship~ Next to Ash/Dawn. :D

It was Ash's 12th birthday Everybody showed up. Even Ash's bastard father Giovanni, though when Ash's mom tried to mention something about all the child support he owed, he snapped his fingers and two large men with large R's on their chest took her behind the house and put the boots to her, breaking 3 fingers and a rib. But fuck them, this isn't their story.

Gary came with an oddly placed box.

"OH BOY" said Ash.

When he opened he, he realized why Gary held it so low. It was Gary's dick!

"What." said Ash. It wasn't even a question. That what just kinda hung there.

"You know this is what you wanted more then anything." Gary shrugged.

"It's already in my ass." Said Ash. And it was. Alakazam had used teleport. Gary fistbumped his Pokebro and got to fucking.

"I am very conflicted by what I am seeing right now." Said Misty.

Brock said nothing because he wasn't there. He was jerking off to the Matron beatdown going on out back. Brock is a sick puppy.

Pikachu hung himself. Who else was there to love him?
