That's too bad anon, having people treat you differently because of your gender sucks. That being said, I'd like for you to notice that, well, this is how we feel a lot of the time in the real world. So if you can take your left out feeling, multiply it by a hundred, and then apply it to almost every social situation ever, you'll probably have a lot better understanding of how women feel whenever we complain about exclusion and stuff.

It's also probably good to tell OP that anytime they don't eat all their food, there's a child starving in Africa.

OT, but my mother used to actually literally do that.

Also, not sure how that fits? I think it's a good thing for guys to understand how girls feel like. When casual thoughtless sexism occurs, it's more often because guys simply don't understand what it's like to be a girl and put up with socially ingrained bullshit all the time, not because they're assholes who don't care about women.

Yeah, my mother did too.

idk, I feel like when people say things like that, it completely minimizes how another person might be feeling. I think you were trying to give another perspective, but saying "girls feel like that all the time" kinda always sounds to be like someone's saying "well, we have to feel like that all the time, so suck it up."

It also implies that Op is a social person. Which I've heard in the past, telling people to go outside is ablism. Depends on how far into SJ you care to venture.

Maybe OP is a hermit who gets all most of their social interaction from the internet (like me.) The internet is it's own culture now. The areas surrounding fandoms are vastly different from the real world. It's that's all you know it can be equal. When you can order food, clothing, and most services online who needs real life.*

* I don't really think like this I just lack a car so I don't go out unless it's with a friend. Neither of use are exactly social butterflies.
