Hardly. I think it's more like an 'It's not cool to like this' kind of thing. Her music doesn't really break new ground once you get used to it and endless new-agey/celtic isn't going float everyone's boat, so many people don't care to keep on listening past the point where it 'all sounds the same'.

This. I like it myself, but I can only take so much of it at one time. I tend to mix it in with songs from other genres that have a quiet, relaxing sound themselves, and just listen to it all on shuffle.

This, pretty much. When she first appeared on the scene, I rather liked it, even considered buying her album. But before I even got around doing it, she had 3 singles out and that was beginning to bore me due to the floaty / slow / always the same factor.
It's not like I hate her or anything, I just don't really get how people can listen to more than one album of hers, but I won't.

This being told, I'd rather they do *not* listen to it out loud in my vicinity too often... "Relaxing" music tends to grate my nerves after 5 minutes.
