i cried when i saw the harassment. i thought i found a place where my disability wouldn't matter.

now i wonder if the bronies actually liked me or saw me as a Derpy stand-in.

Aw man, I'm sorry. :( This is why public harassment is especially vile: people on the sidelines get hurt, too. It pains me that people cared more about the imaginary feelings of a cartoon character (all the fanarts of Derpy crying made me roll my eyes so hard) over the feelings of human beings.

All that said, no fandom is a monolith. If the bronies you are referring to are your fandom friends, then I'm sure that they like you for you. :)

i talked with them. aside from one exception you were right! (and in hindsight it wasn't a surprise)

i'm getting tired of all Derpy-art period.
