I can relate. If there's a movie where a girl already has a fiance but later has another love interest, I WILL ALWAYS CHEER FOR THE FIANCE. It happens to me every time, no matter what. I can't even explain it.

Plus I'd totally want to keep my high end lifestyle, idgaf. We can be spoiled and selfish together, anon. Haha.

Re: fiance cheering, I noticed James Marsden has made a career out of being the unlucky third in romantic triangles. He's always this earnest, charming guy that goes to amazing lengths for his woman... and yet, she always picks the other guy anyway. X-men, Enchanted, Superman Returns, the Notebook. It baffles me.

Yes! I'm glad I'm not the only one who notice this, anon. I was so incredibly happy in 27 Dresses when he turned out to be the one who got the girl in the end. Guy needs more love.

I don't think he always ends up being the "unlucky third" when it comes to triangles.

In X-men tho it wasn't Jean who picked Logan/Wolverine over Cyclops, it was Phoenix - and that was only in the third film. In the earlier two she always picked Cyclops. I think everyone involved was unlucky in that triangle. And IMO in Enchanted he got the better girl in the end anyway, idgaf.

I normally cheer for the one who gets cheated on... but Cal was a bit psychotic. He was sexist, he was controlling, he was abusive. She was pushed into marrying him in the first place. I do not sympathize with Cal one bit and I fully supported her cheating on him.
