The first published slash I did was a short character POV fic that had it as one-sided on the part of the POV character. I was nervous as HELL, because it was my first time putting up fic somewhere for the world to see ever. The three people who commented on it all liked it, though, which gave me the encouragement to feel comfortable putting up my fic in other places, eventually to the point where I now have a dedicated fic journal.

That nervousness, I see as being the usual concern of 'am I offending someone?' Some of the wording here implies that you've written fic before, but now you're stepping out of your usual box, which would probably why you're so nervous. If you keep at it, you'll probably start feeling more comfortable.

Just a heads up, though? You'll probably never stop feeling embarrassed by the fic in some way - writer's curse is that we're NEVER satisfied with how things come out. ;P
