It's easy to say that money doesn't matter when you yourself have enough, and "having money" vs "not having money" comes down to "a few luxuries" vs "a ton of unnecessary and stupid luxuries".
I mean I wouldn't want to be some rich guy's kept bitch either, but seriously. If you are middle class or higher, you probably don't get why the rolling in money fantasy happens among people who aren't just greedy fucks.

I'm not saying it's a great choice, but I can certainly understand making it. Ironically most of the people saying the OP is horrible person probably support women who chose to enter the sex industry. (Personally I don't see much of a difference, though I haven't watched the movie in ages.)
